Coach’s Purpose
Our goal is to develop young people who love basketball, improve at the game and grow into better adults.
Every Stormers coach plays a part in creating that experience. Coaching is not only about teaching skills or preparing teams for games. It is about helping every player feel welcome, challenged, supported and excited to return.
Put the child before the result.
Reflect After Every Practice

Did they feel they belonged?
Every player should feel welcomed, noticed and involved.
Did they improve?
Every session should help players develop attitude, effort or ability.
If the answer is yes, you have delivered a successful Stormers practice.
