Help Us Build the Stormers

South Galway Stormers is growing, and we need more volunteers to help the club continue providing a positive basketball experience for our players and families.

Our club is powered by people who give their time, skills and energy both on and off the court. You do not need to be an experienced basketball coach to get involved. There are many ways to help, and even a small contribution can make a real difference.

We are looking for volunteers to support areas such as coaching, team management, fundraising, events, communications, administration, safeguarding, equipment and match-day organisation.

Some roles require Garda vetting or safeguarding training, while others are practical, occasional or project-based. We will help volunteers understand what is required and support them as they get started.

Volunteering is a great way to meet other families, support young players and help shape the future of basketball in South Galway. It also helps ensure that the work of running the club is shared fairly across the wider Stormers community.

Whether you can help every week, once a month or only at selected events, we would be delighted to hear from you.
