3. Our Vision
To build a strong home for basketball in South Galway, where every player has the chance to learn, compete, contribute and develop through the game.
4. Our Values
Value: What it means in practice
Respect: We respect teammates, opponents, officials, coaches, volunteers, parents and venues.
Effort: We value hard work, improvement and commitment more than shortcuts or excuses.
Teamwork: We play for each other and support the wider club, not just our own team.
Development: We help players grow in confidence, skill, decision-making and resilience.
Inclusion: We welcome people of different backgrounds, abilities and experience levels.
Community: We represent South Galway with pride and give back through volunteering and support.
Safety: We put player welfare, safeguarding and respectful behaviour first.
5. Player Pathway
The Club aims to provide a pathway from early development through competitive underage basketball and adult social participation. Cubs and Academy groups focus on fun, movement and fundamentals. Competitive teams begin from U12, with opportunities to develop through appropriate coaching, teamwork and match experience.

8. What We Ask of Coaches and Volunteers
Create safe, structured and enjoyable sessions.
